Drone Food Delivery Experience in Shenzhen
This innovative service, primarily operated by a leading Chinese e-commerce platform for services, acts as an aerial bridge connecting the bustling Coastal City business district with the tranquil park. Here’s how it works: simply open the app, select your food from participating restaurants, and choose the “Drone Smart Locker” within the park as your delivery address. In just 10-15 minutes on average, a drone will whisk your order directly to the locker. You’ll receive a pickup code to retrieve your meal effortlessly.
The service is available daily from 10:00 to 18:00. The food selection is diverse, ranging from burgers and pizza to coffee and sushi. The key advantages are its remarkable speed (nearly twice as fast as traditional delivery) and pinpoint accuracy.
Riding a Robotaxi in Shenzhen
Ready to experience a self-driving taxi in Shenzhen? Robotaxi services are now in trial operation, allowing you to hail a ride right from your smartphone and get a firsthand look at the future of transportation.
The primary way to book a ride is through the app or mini-program. The process is similar to using any other ride-hailing service. Once your car arrives, it will be marked by a light blue LED strip on the front. Inside, simply fasten your seatbelt; you can often start the trip with a simple voice command like “start the journey”.

The Shenzhen Ping An Finance Centre is the iconic landmark of Shenzhen’s skyline. Located in the Futian CBD, it rises 599 meters, making it the second-tallest building in China and the fifth-tallest in the world.
