Our Itinerary
1-Day Trip
Taipa Houses Museum
Macao's Century-Old Portuguese Heritage
Along Avenida da Praia in Taipa, stand five elegant mint-green Portuguese-style villas , the Taipa Houses Museum. Built in 1921 , they once housed senior officials and members of the Macanese community (of mixed Portuguese-Asian descent) and were designated as heritage in 1992. With their iconic pastel-green façades , the villas blend Southern European architecture with tropical colours—making them one of Macao’s most photogenic sights and a vivid reminder of the city as a meeting point of Chinese and Western cultures .
Reopened in 1999 as themed museums . The Macanese Living Museum recreates 20th‑century home life. The Exhibitions Gallery hosts art and photography shows; Creative Casa showcases Macao-Portuguese design; the Nostalgic House hosts events; the Rustic House evokes Taipa’s fishing-village past.
The villas are Macao’s most beloved photo backdrops . From Avenida da Praia, frame the mint-green walls, white shutters, and red-tiled roofs. Visit at the golden hour for the softest light, and wear light-coloured outfits to stand out against the green façades—a gentle chapter of Macao’s soul.
Guanye Street
Taipa’s Sino-Portuguese Souvenir Lane
In Macau’s Taipa Old Quarter, Rua da Cunha (Guanye Street) is a lively pedestrian lane of approximately 115 meters . This cobbled street brings history, culture, and food into a walkable area, making it a must-visit in Macau.
Dating back to the early 20th century , Guanye Street is one of Taipa’s oldest, named after Portuguese official Leonardo da Cunha. It reflects Sino-Portuguese fusion , where Cantonese roasts, egg tarts, and durian ice cream mingle. As Macau’s " Souvenir Street ", it hosts shops selling almond cookies, pork jerky, and traditional pastries.
For food lovers, Guanye Street is pure paradise . Souvenir bakeries like Koi Kei, Choi Heong Yuen, Yeng Kee, and Fong Kei offer samples of almond cookies, egg rolls, and phoenix pastries. Also great for photography lovers. The iconic red Chinese archway —with a Portuguese sign—makes a perfect welcome shot, while colorful Portuguese calçada cobblestones create a mosaic backdrop. Capture portraits with a Mok Yee Kei durian ice cream cone, close-ups of Tai Lei Loi Kei pork chop bun , and pastel Sino-Portuguese shopfronts.
Taipa Grande Viewing Platform
Perched atop Taipa Grande, one of Macau’s highest hills, the Taipa Grande Viewing Platform offers one of the most distinctive views of Macau. The highlight is a single panorama that captures two contrasting sides of the city : the glittering neon skyline of Cotai’s resorts on one side, and the tranquil wetlands and old Taipa neighbourhoods on the other. It’s widely considered one of the best spots for sunsets and night views .
360-Degree Unobstructed View : One of the few spots in Macau with a true 360-degree perspective , showcasing the Macau Peninsula skyline , landmarks along the Cotai Strip , and the traditional streets of Taipa .
The Unique "Inclined Elevator" : The best way up is the Taipa Grande Inclined Elevator . This glass-panelled elevator , built into the mountainside, is an attraction in itself—especially at sunset.
Wynn Palace SkyCab
Opened in 2016, Wynn Palace is a landmark five-star luxury resort in Cotai, Macau, featuring over 1,700 elegantly designed rooms and suites. It reinforces this upscale atmosphere through the Wynn Palace Esplanade, home to around 50 international luxury boutiques from top fashion and jewelry brands. A highlight is the highly popular Wynn Palace Sightseeing Cable Car , offering breathtaking aerial views of the resort, its iconic Performance Lake fountain, and Cotai’s scenery.
Operating 28 meters above ground, the cable car delivers a bird's-eye view of the Performance Lake and Cotai landscape. Daytime rides showcase Wynn Palace's architecture, while at night it transforms into a dazzling spectacle of light shows and musical water dances.
Cabins feature a customized audio system with voice guidance, introducing scenic spots and the fountain show . The Performance Lake stages a musical fountain show every 20–30 minutes, and the cable car offers the best vantage point to enjoy it.
The Parisian Macao's Eiffel Tower
On Macao’s Cotai Strip, The Parisian Macao is a French-themed integrated resort that blends Parisian elegance with Macao’s vibrant energy. At its center rises a half-scale replica of the Eiffel Tower , reaching 162 meters and lit by 6,600 LED lights . Open daily from 12:00 to 23:00 (last entry 22:15), the tower features two decks: the 7th-floor observation deck looks out over the glittering Cotai Strip, while the 37th-floor deck offers 162-meter panoramas of Macao, Taipa, Cotai, and even Zhuhai’s Hengqin—plus a glass-floor section for bold “floating-in-the-sky” photos.
After sunset, the tower comes alive with a spectacular light show every 15 minutes from 18:15 to midnight, bathing the sky in shifting purples, golds, and rainbow hues. Beyond the tower, explore the Shoppes at Parisian , dine at Michelin-recommended spots, or enjoy family fun at the water park.
For unforgettable photos, head to the Parisian Garden for a full-tower, low-angle shot against the sky. Capture the light show from directly below, its shimmer reflected in the fountains, or its glowing silhouette across the Venetian lagoon—each frame showcases the romance of Cotai’s most iconic landmark .
The Londoner Macao
A Taste of London on the Cotai Strip
Located on Macao’s Cotai Strip , The Londoner Macao is a fully immersive British-themed integrated resort, opened in 2021 and expanded in 2024. It features life-sized recreations of London landmarks—from Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster façade to red phone boxes, black cabs, and double-decker buses—alongside a luxury hotel, casino, arena, and a wide selection of restaurants and shops. David Beckham is its global brand ambassador.
It’s a masterpiece of British palace design . The Grand Lobby showcases domes, sculptures and murals; the replica Big Ben rises above a fountain square hosting Changing of the Guard ; red phone boxes, double-decker buses , Harrods-inspired arcades line walkways; and Gordon Ramsay’s restaurants anchor a dining scene worthy of Mayfair.
At golden hour , when Big Ben lights up against cobalt skies. Frame it through corridor arches with side or overhead angles , and don’t miss the Grand Lobby’s domes, sculptures and murals . Tartan, trench coats or berets suit the mint-and-gold palette.
