For peak seasons — Chinese New Year, Golden Week, and popular regions like Yunnan in spring — we recommend enquiring three to six months ahead. For most other dates, six to twelve weeks is usually enough, though last-minute trips are sometimes possible depending on availability.

We can guide you on the visa type you will likely need and the documents to prepare, based on your nationality and itinerary. Final visa applications are handled directly with your local Chinese embassy or consulate, or through an accredited visa service.

Start with our enquiry form or a WhatsApp message. A specialist will follow up to understand who is travelling, when you would like to go, and what you want to experience. We then share a draft itinerary and quote. Revisions are included until the plan feels right — only then do we confirm your booking.

Once you approve your itinerary, we ask for a deposit to secure guides, hotels, and domestic arrangements. The balance is typically due closer to departure. Exact amounts and deadlines are set out clearly in your booking confirmation.

Inclusions vary by itinerary, but most journeys cover private guiding and transfers, accommodation, entrance fees, and the experiences we have agreed with you. International flights, visa fees, travel insurance, and personal expenses are usually excluded unless stated otherwise.

Cancellation terms depend on how close you are to departure and which suppliers are involved. We outline the applicable charges in your booking confirmation before you pay. We always recommend comprehensive travel insurance that covers cancellation and medical emergencies.

Most of our journeys include a dedicated local guide and private vehicle with a driver, so you can move at your own pace and adjust plans on the day when something catches your eye. Group sizes and staffing are confirmed in your itinerary.
